Find Arrest Records in Wenatchee
Wenatchee arrest records are maintained by the Wenatchee Police Department for incidents within city limits. The Chelan County Sheriff's Office holds records for arrests in unincorporated areas and operates the county jail. Wenatchee is also served by RiverCom 911, a regional communications center that handles 911 recordings and dispatch logs as a separate agency. All three operate under RCW 42.56, Washington's Public Records Act, and must respond to requests within five business days. Wenatchee has roughly 34,000 residents and serves as the county seat of Chelan County.
Wenatchee Overview
Wenatchee Police Department Records
The Wenatchee Police Department Records Division is located on the first floor of the police department, with a walk-up counter in the lobby. The mailing address is 140 South Mission, P.O. Box 519, Wenatchee, WA 98807-0519. You can reach the Records Division by phone at (509) 888-4200, by fax at (509) 888-4219, or by email at wpdrecords@wenatcheewa.gov.
Arrest records, incident reports, and police documents for incidents within Wenatchee city limits go through this office. The Records Division handles requests separately from the City Clerk. Do not use the city's general online portal for police records. The Police Department has its own form and process. A WPD Public Records Request Form is available as a PDF from the department's website.
One specific document type has its own fee. Accident and collision reports from the Wenatchee Police Department cost $10.00 per report. Other records follow the general fee schedule set by the city. For most routine requests, the department will respond within five business days. Large or complex requests may take longer, and the department will communicate that timeline in writing.
Some fee waivers are available. If the estimated cost of fulfilling a request is $5.00 or less, it may be waived. The Chief of Police also has discretion to waive fees of $2.00 or less. For body-worn camera footage, advance payment may be required before the department begins work on the request.
City Clerk and General Records
The Wenatchee City Clerk is Tammy L. McCord. Her office handles public records requests that fall outside police department records. Phone: (509) 888-3604. Email: cityclerk@wenatcheewa.gov. City Hall is at 301 Yakima Street, Wenatchee, WA 98801. The mailing address is PO Box 519, Wenatchee, WA 98807.
General city records, administrative documents, and non-police public records go through the City Clerk's online Public Records Request Portal. This portal is for city records only. If you submit a police records request through the city clerk portal by mistake, it will likely be redirected, but it is faster to use the correct channel from the start. The two systems do not share a queue.
The city may require a 10% deposit before beginning work on large requests. For small requests, the deposit may not apply. There is no charge just to inspect records in person at City Hall. Copying and delivery fees only kick in when you want physical or digital copies sent to you.

The Chelan County Regional Justice Center is at 350 Orondo Avenue, Wenatchee, WA 98801. Court records for felony cases arising from Wenatchee arrests are filed at Chelan County Superior Court, which is part of that facility. For misdemeanor cases, Wenatchee Municipal Court handles them.
Note: For arrests in unincorporated parts of Chelan County, start with the Sheriff's Records Division rather than the Wenatchee Police Department, as jurisdiction determines which agency holds the records.
RiverCom 911 Records
RiverCom 911 is the regional communications center serving Wenatchee and surrounding areas. It is a separate agency from the police department and the county sheriff. RiverCom holds 911 call recordings, dispatch logs, and communications records. It does not hold police reports, investigative files, or body-worn camera footage. Those stay with the police department or sheriff.
The RiverCom Public Records Officer is Kayla Hodges. The mailing address is P.O. Box 3344, Wenatchee, WA 98807. Email: publicdisclosure@rivercom911.org. The RiverCom public records page outlines how to submit a request and what types of records are available. RiverCom responds within five business days under the same RCW 42.56 framework that applies to all Washington public agencies.

911 recordings at RiverCom are retained for approximately 90 days. If you need a recording of a 911 call, submit your request promptly. After the retention period, those recordings are not available. Dispatch logs may be kept longer, but check with RiverCom on specific retention schedules for the type of record you need.
Statewide Arrest Record Tools
Wenatchee Police and Chelan County Sheriff records only cover their own jurisdictions. For a wider view of a person's history across Washington, or to find court records from multiple counties, statewide tools fill in the gaps. These are the resources that go beyond what any single local agency can provide.
The Washington State Patrol runs the WATCH system, which provides statewide criminal history checks for $11 per search. Results are name-based and return conviction records from across Washington. The search typically takes only a few minutes. This is the fastest way to check conviction history without contacting individual counties.
For court records, the Washington Courts case search portal is free. It covers Superior Court, District Court, and Municipal Court records statewide and shows filed charges, dispositions, and case status. Wenatchee felony cases appear in Chelan County Superior Court records. Misdemeanor cases appear in Wenatchee Municipal Court.
If someone is currently in custody at the Chelan County Jail, VINELink lets you look up their current custody status for free. You can also sign up for automated alerts when that status changes. The service works across most county jails in Washington.
